Each of my children has their own copy of the book, Oh, The Places You Will Go.
It is full of Suess wisdom that my kids can understand. No boundaries, or limitations, to think about, just make room for a dream; any dream.

Encouraging people to get into flowers is always on my list because I know what it can bring to your life. And sharing your own cut flowers on any scale will bring happiness to. This is my favorite topic😍. Growing flowers is wonderfully contagious. Giving them away and bringing a smile to people’s faces is even more so. That’s what got me. I found a local flower farm and went head over heels. I didn’t know that growing all those flowers was possible by us. I went back bringing different friends everytime. The first friend was someone who recently lost her sister and I wanted to do something nice for her. Picking flowers to arrange with a breath taking view of the rocky mountains, stopped us in our tracks. It gave us a moment to escape our current situations and remember the great beauty that surround us every day. I was hooked. My garden since has expanded x4 and is 75% flowers. I hope to invite others to come cut there own flowers this upcoming year as I wish to give them a piece of the beauty I found. Maybe get them hooked too😉

Of course I love receiving flowers – everyone does, right? – but GIVING someone flowers I’ve grown myself brings me even more pleasure. This small gesture has the power to significantly brighten someone’s day and in return, it brightens mine, tenfold. It’s priceless.

This coming season I will be starting to bring people to our pace where they can pick their bouquets! Anyone who has come has always loved to see the garden so I thought why not make it an experience. When I pitched my idea to my husband he said “go for it” so here we go! Im getting way to excited!!!

Sharing the flowers I grow, whether for real or the arrangements I post all summer long on Instagram, have been the motivation behind all the work of gardening. And then the joy it brings me… and some of it comes from the annuals I buy from you.
