The spring of 2021 will bring a magnificent new feature to the farm. More than one acre of Cut Your Own Flowers. A chance to walk through row upon row of blooms that we have carefully constructed just for you. There will be “production” style rows like we have on the farm and also a more informal English garden inspired area, where simply spending time has its own reward.
Over one hundred different varieties and colours of blooms available for your own personal bouquet.
This unique flower experience awaits as we emerge from the winter of 20/21. We will let Mother Nature choose our opening date sometime in late spring. Your only concern will be to wear appropriate footwear and you can leave the rest up to us. We will provide everything else you need. Fair warning though, time moves more slowly when you are in the garden, and you will be overcome with feelings of calm, and serenity. You’ll even get to meet our ducks!
What better way to celebrate the spring of 2021 than to invite three of your besties to join you at the farm for an afternoon of cutting flowers. Our giveaway for Day 23 of our Twenty Four Days of Giveaways is a Voucher for Four to our Cut Your Own Garden. This giveaway has a value of $120.
For a chance to win leave a comment below. In your message, share what your escape is, anything really, as long as it's meant to pick people up. EASY. This giveaway is open to anyone with a Canadian shipping address. Contest is open December 23rd for 24 hours. Closes December 23rd at midnight PT.
Of course, if you know the three people you would invite, please share!
Please note: If your comment doesn’t show up right away, don't fret; we have a spam filter that requires we approve comments before they are published.

When I need a break or escape, my first priority is to rest and turn off my mind! So i usually prioritize sleep, daily walks & meditating, which is so healing. But sometimes I need to be creative to escape, and that’s where I focus on gardening, drawing, painting and trying new things! Being creative anywhere in your life, whether it’s changing up your garden layout or learning a new skill is so nourishing. I have definitely been focusing more on rest and being creative this year!

My escape is very much getting out in nature. We love evening strolls with the whole family walking through a forest or just the transcanada trail. We try to aim for a new trail every weekend when the weather cooperates with us and when I dont have to work at the hospital. As a family we try to incorporate the outside as much as possible. My almost two year old lives walking trails and hugging as many trees as he possible can. Yes it is adorable and exactly like you picture.

This year my escape has been gardening and organizing my photos into albums. It is so nice to be reminded of the fun every season has to offer with friends and family and to be reminded what’s waiting on the other side of this sacrifice we are all making to keep each other safe. I also love the photos of my garden in years past that reminds me to take risks and try new things and experiment because in the end something beautiful always turns out!
