Sow: Indoors weeks before last frost, or directly into prepared beds. Germination can take up to days.

Transplant: Harden off and transplant once the soil can be worked in the spring

Harvest Tips:  Chives are much more productive if divided regularly.  Divided them into clumps of at least 10 small bulbs and allow to grow for several weeks before harvesting.  Cut the leaves down to the base when harvesting (within 1-2 inches of the soil)
