Continue ShoppingWhat do you see in a garden? Isn’t it amazing that we all see different elements when we walk through a garden. Like when you go specifically looking for pollinators on your flowers and you find your garden is full of life; bees, butterflies and hummingbirds appear out of nowhere. And I am always amazed when people say things like, “my favourite part was the lemon balm”, when I know I planted it as an afterthought to add more filler to the fold. People see different things.
When I first saw Samantha’s Wild Jewelry, it was easy to see that she sees something different when she looks at flowers. Her creations are absolutely stunning. To walk through a garden and already know what a flower or leaf is going to look like in her gorgeous resin, teardrop pendant is astounding. Looking at her work is like looking at a miniature garden, preserved at just the right moment, to last an eternity.
Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. Well, behold! If you like spending time in your garden, you are sure to love the vision and originality of Samantha’s Wild Jewelry.

A have a beautiful christmas tree, made by wreaht and dry flower. It is something that was given by my grand mother so it is really precious. I love it so much, it is a good memory of my grand mother.

I work part-time at a local flower farm. My favourite floral display was from this past summer. There was a wedding taking place one beautiful afternoon. I had the pleasure of helping to set up for this wedding and while doing so was able to watch two florists create an floral archway for the ceremony. It was beyond stunning! The flowers were then carried on to the ends of each row of chairs, in a mason jar.
The overall effect was spectacular. I have also assisted in creating a wedding archway made soley out of (for the most part) weeds from a field. It was beyond beautiful. Also, each week I have a small part in assisting ready made floral arrangements for customers. Each bouquet is totally unique. The joy on the recipients’ faces is wonderful to see. Flowers make everyone happy!

I recently saw some beautiful pressed flower ornaments made using a salt dough. We make a new Christmas ornament for our tree each year and I thought this was the perfect way to use some of our pressed flowers from the garden this year.
